The Ajax system is not only a security system, but also a smart home system. During the repair, the plumber advised installing a system that monitors water leakage and shuts off the water. But during the repair, there was no money for it. Instead of the electric valve, a plug was installed, but the LeaksProtect sensor itself was bought. It looks very cool. I checked the operation, everything is OK. There are metal contacts at the bottom, if water closes them, then an alert instantly comes to the Ajax application. The sensor runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are enough for 5 years. To implement the system of automatically shutting off the water supply in case of a leak, you need to purchase an Ajax WallSwitch smart relay and install an Ajax WaterStop ball valve (or some other manufacturer). But even buying it just for the leak notification function is also worth it.
