One of the most affordable branded 600W ATX 12V v2.3 computer power supplies with a passive PFC module. It is the middle model of the 2018 Aerocool Value Plus budget line, which includes 8 different units with nameplate power from 400 to 800 watts. It has standard overall dimensions and can be easily installed in any ATX cases. It is positioned as a product of the basic price category, designed for powering entry-level and mid-level gaming systems.
It can become a source of energy for the operation of inexpensive workstations (including those equipped with low / medium power graphics accelerators). The hardware basis of the Aerocool Value Plus VX Plus 600W power supply is a reliable platform with modern circuitry that is capable of providing 92% of the rated power along the + 12V line (at a current of up to 46 A). The unit is not 80 Plus certified, but at 50% load it is about 82% efficient, which is typical for such low cost solutions. The cable subsystem includes six main lines: ATX 24-pin (20+4), EPS/ATX12V 8-pin (4+4), two PCI-E 8-pin lines (6+2), combined 2xSATA+2xMOLEX 4 -pin and combined 2xSATA+MOLEX 4-pin+Floppy. The unit provides good output voltage stability, low ripple and no high-frequency noise. A controlled low-noise 120 mm fan is used to cool its own components.

In general, the PSU met all parameters. It looks attractive, with a neat dark color and a beautiful top panel. In terms of power, it is sufficient. None of the lines dip, which speaks to the quality of the semiconductors. It is easy to install in place due to its standard dimensions. All connectors and cables needed for connections are included. A normal power supply, suitable for both office and gaming PCs. Powerful and stable in operation. The wires are normal, long, and easy to install. Power was calculated using an online calculator. I took a little with a reserve, but in general I required 500 watts. As a cooling system, a 120 mm fan is not noisy, thanks to smart speed adjustment.
