In the end, it is a good and beautiful set of fans with a hub. The remote (aesthetically unattractive and initially confusing) will allow you to set the lighting to your preference, and then you'll forget where it is. It's definitely better to entrust the lighting control to the motherboard, as there will be more settings in that case, and you can certainly toss the remote aside. The kit is suitable for owners of both old systems (can only be connected to SATA power) and new ones (can connect additional lighting elements to the hub).

despite the price, the fans are quiet even at maximum rotations (my CPU cooler gammax 400 is noisier than 4 of these fans). I have 4 of these fans installed and they are VERY beautiful! And most importantly, quiet...
