The updated lineup of Acer Extensa budget laptops for the year 2025 offers enhanced performance thanks to the use of the Intel Raptor Lake hardware platform. Unlike the lower-end Extensa models, which belong to the entry-level category and are based on energy-efficient Intel N processors, this lineup of laptops is equipped with more powerful Intel Core processors with a wide range of available configurations: from the basic Core i3, primarily aimed at handling standard office tasks, to the much more powerful Core i7, which is suitable for more complex work.

The DDR5 RAM capacity in the basic configuration is 16 GB, and in the maximum configuration - 32 GB, allowing for comfortable work with resource-intensive applications. The Acer Extensa 15 EX215-57 series features a classic 15.6-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and a 45% NTSC color gamut. This display is suitable for working with documents, web browsing, and watching videos, although it may not be accurate enough for professional color work. The anti-glare coating reduces eye strain during prolonged use. Additional features include support for Wi-Fi 6, providing a stable connection with a compatible router, a standard 720p webcam, and fast charging, which replenishes more than half of the battery capacity in less than an hour.
