Oona is a range of three hand knotted rugs with a simple and graphical more→feel. Oona is a play between shapes and contrasts. Clean lines and soft curves meet each other and go to create three unique shapes that are neither round nor square. A simple, immersed line of a darker shad breaks up the plain color of the surface. When designing products, Simon Legald often goes into depth with details. He has, for example, given each of the three rugs in the Oona range a different corner radius, thereby creating a variation in design while maintaining the same mode of expression.…
