Quick release mount

Nowadays, there are two types of such mounts — a clip and a magnet; some models come with both types. The main difference between them is that clips are more reliable and better suited for long-term mounting (for example, long journeys on rough roads); magnets, on the other hand, are quicker and more convenient for removal and installation. In any case, a quick-release mount will be the optimal choice for those who do not want to keep the recorder in the car all the time — for instance, if the car often has to be parked in an unsecured yard.
