Foam rubber (EVA)

— handles made of synthetic material — ethylene vinyl acetate. Created as a more affordable and stylish alternative to cork, they are inexpensive and can be made in almost any colour option. In addition, EVA is much more resistant to adverse conditions, in particular temperature extremes and ultraviolet radiation. Its main disadvantage is its significant weight compared to cork, which can be critical for some types of professional rods.
