Spinning

— rods designed for spinning fishing: long distance casting and pulling with a reel, usually with lure (bait, wobbler, etc.) to imitate the movement of live prey and catch predatory fish. Spinning rods have a rather short length, but provide a casting range of several tens of metres; they also hold up well.
