Dual-core processor
— a dual-core processor. Such processors work much faster than classic single-core ones, due to which the performance of the device is significantly increased and it becomes possible to work with hardware-demanding tasks (for example, video or games). The downside of this is increased power consumption, but this disadvantage is partly offset by the use of capacious batteries and special energy-saving technologies. Initially, dual-core processors were installed in advanced top-class smartphones, but now they are found in all price categories. Also note that the number of cores in itself is not an indicator of high performance — much also depends on other specs of the processor and the device itself, as well as on the features of its software part.| clear | Save List |
