Manual focus
— ability to focus the camera lens manually. On the one hand, this sharpness setting is not as convenient as autofocus — in particular, because it requires special attention to camera control. On the other hand, the manual mode allows the operator to choose the focus object and control the sharply depicted space, without relying on automation (which even during normal shooting does not always work perfectly, not to mention specific artistic techniques).
