It makes a lovely light drifting and inshore bottom fishing rod but it can also double as a light uptide rod allowing you to change tactics as the fishing dictates. The rod is built using Daiwa's fantastic X45 carbon construction making it lightweight and very responsive with a sensitive tip which smoothly blends into the increasingly powerful mid and butt sections. This gives you plenty of feel and makes the Tournament Boat/Uptide a very enjoyable rod to fish with. The blank is made in two equal sections and the extra-long full EVA handle helps with casting and balance.
