DCWéditions Bathroom wall light Gold Glass. Dimensions: L 23 x H 32 cm x Depth 7.6 cm. Installed on the wall, like a glass sugared almond, LightMeTender gently illuminates you. The light is inspired by the subtle tones of dusk and dawn, accompanying you in the transition between dreams and reality. Patrick Jouin: We wanted to work with the bathroom... moresphere, specific to the temporality of morning or evening. We wanted to tackle the issue of getting lighting right, in order to create a positive ambiance as you're getting ready, whether it's for discovering the outside world or rediscovering your personal cocoon. The light is composed of a piece of blown glass with natural, almost un-designed shapes - just like a pebble or cushion - and a block of gold aluminium that resembles a pincer. Through its material, the pincer appears to be ornamental, but in reality it has an important function, allowing for the light to be attached to the wall by unhooking it from the pincer, for even more of a lightweight finish. This gem is also present for letting the user switch, with a simple press of the finger, from direct to indirect lighting, depending on how they're using the light and the time of day. An elegant light creating a piece that plays on intimacy. The design is extremely simple, like a single cloud that's floated down from a blue sky.
