Primaloft Gold Active+ provides the insulation, with more fill in the body than the sleeves to balance freedom of movement with warmth. This synthetic fill is light, packable and able to retain heat when damp, making it ideal for inclement conditions and overnight bikepacking trips as well as more mundane uses.  Both the inner and outer fabrics are air permeable, and so provide much better breathability than is normally found in this style of garment, allowing any moist air to escape more easily. Comfort is further enhanced by the brushed collar and cosy chin guard that are soft against the skin, along with the two handwarmer pockets.
