Product Usage: Before using the device, always carefully inspect the assembled device to ensure that all components are secure. Press on the aspirator bulb to release the air inside. While holding the aspirator, gently place the tip of the aspirator in your baby's mouth. Gently release pressure on the bulb and suction the secretions. Repeat this process as needed. Hold the NeoBulb™ between your index and middle fingers as shown and press on the flat base to expel air. To remove parts for cleaning: 1. Pinch the tip opening with your thumb and index finger. . 2. If you squeeze the bulb with the thumb and index finger of your other hand, the air pressure will rise quickly and the parts will separate. How to Clean and Sterilize: Disassemble all components. Wash with warm soapy water. Shake any remaining water to disinfect. Choose one of three methods: 1. Boiling sterilization: Place in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove the product before the water cools completely. Shake off and discard any remaining water. Allow all components to air dry before reassembling. Place on a clean, lint-free towel. 2. Disinfect your microwave: Clean the appliance with soap and water and shake off any remaining moisture. Now place the aspirator in the microwave for 45 seconds. Disinfect aspirators as recommended by NeilMed® and published in medical research journals. 3. In some countries (some countries), use approved chemical disinfectants and follow cleaning procedures.
