The Electro Harmonix Germanium 4 Big Muff Pi Distortion & Overdrive gives you independent control over rich overdrive and fuzzy distortion even letting you stack them together for truly mammoth tones. This comes as the result of a focused modern design dripping with EHX analog heritage- old meets new. The Overdrive/Distortion split is represented in the design with each getting half of the enclosure and the graphic showing the divide this makes it super easy to navigate and control. Both sides have Volume Gain and Bias but whereas the final knob for overdrive is a simple tone control for distortion it is Volts which when lowered imitates a dying battery spluttering effect. This is an exceptionally unique feature that serves only to complement the rest of this remarkably versatile pedal.
