The 7 weight is the true all-rounder from floating line right down to the heavy artillery Di 8. Those that prefer the shorter 9’6 rods can choose between the 7 weight all-rounder or the 5 weight which has been specifically designed as a stillwater dry fly rod where small flies and fine tippets are required for those spooky fish.
