Line Westa Standard

Starter batteries of the Standart series act as the "golden mean" in the Westa brand's portfolio: a step below are the Econom series batteries, while the Premium series is a step ahead. In the standard version, we have classic 12-volt lead-acid batteries suitable both for passenger vehicles and for trucks or buses. The models in the series come in capacities ranging from 50 Ah to 200 Ah.

The positive terminal in their design can be either on the right or the left side — this aspect is important to confirm directly with the product seller. Westa Standard batteries are maintenance-free, equipped with standard cone terminals (Euro), and demonstrate high operational reliability. Additionally, the models in the series showcase high starting current characteristics, relatively low self-discharge rates (at positive ambient temperatures), and minimal internal electrical resistance at temperatures below 0 °C. The manufacturer kindly offers a warranty on the product ranging from 2 to 5 years (specific terms should be inquired at the store).

Model overview based on user reviews
The Westa Standard car battery receives mixed reviews from users, with several highlighting its long service life and durability, often lasting up to 7 years or more under proper maintenance. Users appreciate its ability to start vehicles in extreme cold conditions, making it a reliable choice for harsh climates. However, some reviews mention a short lifespan of around 2-3 years, particularly for the 6CT-60 model, and issues with electrolyte levels and cell shorting. Despite its excellent performance in many cases, the battery's price is considered high by some, affecting its overall value. Overall, the Westa Standard is praised for its power and reliability, but potential buyers should be aware of the variability in longevity and the need for regular maintenance.

The time is right, and I'm looking for the same one. Anyone who knows, please let me know. I want to buy it.

Battery 6СТ60А3(1) 12V, starting current 480A (EN). Made in Ukraine. Released in June 2008. I don't know when it was installed on the car, but it's my third winter (2.5 years). I have never had any starting problems the entire time. Engine six-cylinder (170 hp). Trips are mostly (80-85%) around the city 15-25 km with frequent stops. Just now, for the first time, I put it on recharging.

TOO BAD IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE NOW. Either the prices are crazy, or the salary is small.
29 December 2018
Released in February 2008. Bought in O C T O B E R 2008. Started using from December 27, 2008 (the car was under overhaul of the body and engine). Charged up to a density of 1.27, each time before the frosts, at the end of October to a current of 7A (74A/H), BUT better 3Amp. for 16 hours. I charged it for 8 hours overnight since I needed the car. After 7 years of use, I depleted the starter a few times, the LPG was faulty, and after 9 years and 9 months, the second cell near the + terminal shorted. I think if I had always charged it once a year for 16 hours at 3A and not drained it heavily with the starter, it would have lasted much longer. In frosts at -27-35 it started from the first or second attempt without pressing the clutch because the ignition lock did not work at -25 or below :) I started it with a screwdriver in the starter without assistance!!! After 7 years, at -30, it started harder and on the 5th attempt with the clutch pressed. This year in '18, as always, put it on charge, density 1.27. Drove for a day, and the next day, it turned twice and died. Voltage 10.5v. Checked and found the second cell had shorted. Almost ten years of "happiness." It's a pity they're expensive now. I want the same one, but 1/3 of salary is unaffordable, no time to save. It died suddenly, couldn't prepare. VAZ 2115 carb 1.5L. Oil 5W40 Ravinol synthetic. Gearbox Lukoil mineral 80W90, I don’t know how they’re labeled there, but chose the best for frosts and cheaper, synthetic prices are over 4000r. EXCELLENT BATTERY!!!! If you have the money - buy without hesitation 74 A/H Ca/Ca PERSONALLY TESTED and CHARGE ONCE a YEAR. The car lacks, otherwise below -20 the number of attempts halves. Good luck!!!
POWER AND DURABILITY
NOT AT ALL

I have 60 Ah 600 current. Appearance. It starts well for over 2.5 years.
60Ah 600 currentDid not last even 3 years. Water evaporates from three cells closer to the motor. Clearly not premium quality.
