great model, love it
10 February 2014
I took the risk and don't regret it. I have a corner room, 20m2 there is no heating in the apartment. Heated with an oil cooler. The temperature in the room was 16-18 degrees. The wall is damp, there are drops of moisture on the slopes of the windows, a fireplace for 2300 kW. They paid 300 UAH. for the world. Now UFO L/1800 hangs, turned on at 5 out of 11 possible (less than half power) in room 22-25 with the window open for ventilation, I feel comfortable. Even in the instructions it is stated that it fights mold, which is important for us, but I can confirm or refute this over time, although there is no longer any dew on the slopes! Decide for yourself.
It crackles every time it heats up.

Heats up really well. For me, its main plus is that you can heat individual parts of the room, and not the whole room as a whole, so you warm up much faster.
Well-known brand, guarantee, high-quality, energy-saving heating.

Good to know:

UFO 2600 heaters are used for both general and local heating of all types of premises. Recommended for use in apartments, children's rooms, offices, cafes, banks, hospitals, schools, sports and exhibition halls, as well as greenhouses under glass.

Doesn't cause headaches

The combustion process used in any heating system consumes oxygen, and if the ventilation of the room is insufficient, the oxygen content in the air decreases, resulting in headaches for people in the room. The "UFO" radiation heating system does not use oxygen for heating, so it does not cause headaches.

Doesn't create odour

In enclosed spaces heated by solid fuel stoves, catalytic and radiator heating systems, odour occurs due to the fact that dust particles and microorganisms suspended in the air burn when in contact with a heat source. This is one of the inevitable consequences of using traditional heating systems. The air circulation that occurs in the room due to the movement of heated air molecules raises dust particles and microparticles invisible to the eye, and, as already mentioned, they fall on the elements of the heating system, burn out and give an unpleasant odour. Since the "UFO" radiation heating system does not use air as a heat transmitter, there is no circulation, therefore no odour and no deterioration of indoor air quality.

No danger of poisoning

As when using solid fuel stoves, as a result of incomplete combustion, carbon monoxide (Cooling system) is formed, which causes poisoning, and in heating systems using liquefied gas, with incomplete combustion of fuel resulting from a decrease in the oxygen content in the air, there is also a risk of poisoning. Since the "UFO" radiation heating system uses electricity and does not use oxygen for heating, there is no danger of poisoning.

Prevents the formation of moisture

Dampness is the concentration of water vapor in the air above a certain level. And the smell that we call "the smell of dampness" is the smell spread by microorganisms and bacteria invisible to the eye that live and multiply in a damp environment. The heating system by means of "UFO" radiation, deeply warming up the room, evaporates dampness, prevents its re-formation, and also prevents the formation of particles and microorganisms, thereby preventing the appearance of "damp smell". In addition, the proverb "A doctor does not look into the house where the sun looks" is also true for the heating system by means of "UFO" radiation.

Physiotherapy

In physiotherapy rooms, therapeutic exercises are carried out, as well as diseased areas of the body are heated by infrared radiation. "UFO" heating systems, using infrared radiation, provide deep heating, which accelerates blood circulation, relaxes muscles, which makes it easier to exercise. In addition, the use of the system has a positive effect on muscle and joint pain. In particular, it is used in the treatment of lumbar hernia, rheumatism, diseases of the sciatic nerve.
