Model overview based on user reviews
The Triangle TR968 tires are praised for their affordable price and attractive design, making them a popular choice among budget-conscious consumers. Users appreciate their good handling and high wear resistance, with some noting that they hold the road well even at high speeds. However, a common complaint is the high noise level, described by some as akin to an "airplane" sound, particularly at lower speeds. While some users find the noise manageable, others have opted to sell the tires due to the discomfort. Additionally, the tires are noted for their strong sidewalls, but performance in wet conditions is criticized, with reports of poor braking and traction. Overall, the Triangle TR968 is seen as a decent option for those prioritizing cost and durability, but potential buyers should be prepared for the noise and consider their driving conditions.

In size 245/40 Price, good handling, holds the road at a speed of 220, high wear resistance A little noisy at city speed, after 100 it’s normal |
It was bought based on the principle of a nice design, newness, and price tag. Everything is fine... but it howls terribly. Just howls a lot! Especially at low speed. For those who are brave and a little hard of hearing, it's worth getting. In all other cases, it will be an attack on the ears. Price. Beautiful design. HELLA NOISY! i recommend it don't buy |
I bought them in 2014, because the price at the time of purchase turned out to be the most affordable I found, 225/45 R17, something like 3000-3500 rubles per cylinder (money was difficult). Before that I drove Pirelli P-Zero 225/45 R17 - they cost about 10-11 thousand per cylinder!, but what STRONG SIDEWALLS they had! But this is not about them.. These Triangle sidewalls are softer to the touch, but I didn’t have time to drive through the pits to check the strength - I drove 300-500 kilometers and sold it in horror, the feeling that the wheel bearings were covered - SUCH NOISE! The price, at the time of purchase, turned out to be the most affordable I found, 225/45 R17, something around 3000-3500 rubles per cylinder (money was difficult). Before that I drove Pirelli P-Zero 225/45 R17 - they cost about 10-11 thousand per cylinder, but what STRONG SIDEWALLS they had! But this is not about them. TERRIBLY NOISY! Sounds like an airplane. For comparison: before them there were Pirelli 225/45 R17 - - SILENCE! and a great hook, EXCELLENT HARD SIDEWALL - I caught dozens of holes with sharp edges - I didn’t EVEN get a hernia!!! I didn’t have time to check the strength of the sidewall on these Triangles - when I drove 300-500 km. - I was horrified by the wildest noise and put them up for sale at a low price and they were quickly bought. use Triangle TR968 225/45 R17 94V less than month |
