Model overview based on user reviews
The Thermex Flat Diamond Touch water heater has received mixed reviews from users. On the positive side, it is praised for its attractive design and useful features like a timer and electronic controls. However, several users have reported significant issues, such as poor reliability, with heating elements corroding quickly and the RCD burning out within months. The service experience has also been criticized, with some users mentioning a lack of available spare parts and inadequate support from service centers. While some users have had a positive experience over several years, others have faced recurring problems, leading to disappointment. Overall, potential buyers should weigh the aesthetic and functional benefits against the reported reliability concerns.

No complaints so far.

There is no need to set the operating temperature above +60C if the water quality leaves much to be desired... It’s better to work on 2 heating elements, it will last longer.
Excellent design. It works for two years, but from time to time, when there is no hot water, no problems so far. It’s convenient that there is a timer.
I haven’t discovered it yet... It’s just a little difficult to control... My wife hasn’t learned to turn it on for 2 years...

It’s worth buying, but a piece of advice to the buyer is to film on your phone how they turn on and configure all these buttons, arrows and letters!))) this video will definitely come in handy the next time you want to turn on the water heater yourself!
We have been using it for 2 years, only when the water is turned off (in spring and autumn), nothing has been changed, it works perfectly, heats up quickly.
stupid display on which all these unnecessary inscriptions run and turning on the heating is a problem every time, because next time you forget how to turn it on and you have to rummage through the Internet for half an hour to finally turn it on. I think that it was necessary to make the control on the display much simpler, everything is too confusing.
use Thermex ID-80 V month or more
good model, I liked it.

Back in the 90s, Thermex in my city became as much of a household name as Xerox. This happened because there was no centralized hot water supply for several years. So, when I decided to upgrade my water heater to a stainless steel tank model, the first brand I considered as a candidate for purchase was Thermex.
A tank made of high-quality stainless steel sheet. However, the tank material itself is not everything. It turns out the weak point of such a water heater can be the weld seams. Exposure to high temperatures reduces the concentration of the main alloying component - chromium, and such an alloy will no longer fully resist corrosion. Therefore, magnesium alloy protective anodes are installed even in boilers with stainless steel tanks, and this model is no exception. It can operate in two heating modes, which differ in the electrical power used. In the 1.3 kW mode, the heating is economical but slow; if you engage the second stage and increase the power to 2 kW, the entire tank heats up in just over two hours. Convenient and intuitive electronic touch controls. You can precisely set the water heating temperature. The clock and timer also proved to be useful. Electrical safety is at a high level. Thanks to the protective disconnection device, the possibility of electric current reaching the metal parts of the water heater is entirely eliminated. For a water heater with a stainless steel tank, it has a fairly affordable price.
A couple of times, the overheating protection somehow activated, and the screen displayed the error E3 Overheat. To restore functionality, I manually reset it using the thermostat button, and the boiler came back to life.
