Model overview based on user reviews
The STRIAL Winter tires are praised for their affordable price, softness, and low noise levels, making them a good choice for budget-conscious consumers. Users have noted that they perform well on snow, offering good grip and braking capabilities. However, on very slippery roads, they may become uncontrollable at higher speeds. Despite this, they balance well with minimal weights and are considered a solid option for winter driving. The tires are also compared favorably to more premium brands like Michelin, especially in terms of noise and road handling. Overall, they are recommended for those seeking a cost-effective winter tire solution.
Pros
Cons
The noise level is very low for winter tires, holds the road well at 180 km/h at -4°C on dry asphalt, brakes excellently. Overall, it seems like Michelin by all characteristics! Soft and quiet. Not found |
Greetings to Everyone. At the very beginning of winter, I faced the need to change 2 wheels. Due to the peak season, the prices for tires were astronomical, and I had to choose from what was available and reasonably priced. I installed them on the rear axle. I have a rear-wheel-drive car, E-class. The tires are actually not bad, quite grippy. I am comparing them exclusively with Nokian Nordman RS-2. On a very slippery road, I drove a maximum of 50 km, any faster and they became uncontrollable. On snow, they drive and brake well, but as soon as you stop, it's trouble. They balance out not badly, with weights up to 40g. For budget tires, quite not bad. Draw your own conclusions. For summer, I will get the same brand. P.S. Riken, Strial, Kormoran - are all the same.
