Multiple Water Outlets

An instant water heater can be connected to either one or multiple water outlets. It's important to ensure the electrical wiring has the appropriate gauge since the device consumes up to 4800 W from the household grid. It is also recommended to protect the line with a circuit breaker rated at 25 A.

Hydraulic Control

The Stiebel Eltron EIL 4 Plus model uses a hydraulic water heating control system because it lacks a thermostat. Heating is automatically activated when water flow is initiated and deactivated when the mixer taps are closed.

Under-Sink Installation

The water heater is installed with outlets facing upwards, using 3/8" threaded pipes. Connection to 1/2" diameter pipes is made using special fittings. The system includes protection against overheating and excessive pressure, and the housing has a dust and moisture protection rating of IP25.
