The phone is good but for a very specific fan. He has an excellent camera, 100x zoom is good, but it's true ... purely under the zoom mi 11 ultra (there was 120x but soap). Ergonomics is also an amateur, but in my opinion it was created purely for me. It sits perfectly in the hand! (I have). S-pen is purely show-off but nice. The interface is working fine. Wow no but not skinny. I recommend only drawing with S-pen. The interface does not work very conveniently, but someone is more familiar with it. Performance - well, for that kind of money it could have been more powerful. The new processor is enough, but it could have been more powerful. At the expense of 120 hertz. In my opinion everything works. The interface works smoothly. Appearance is just amazing! A masterpiece of laconic design!!! The price - well, if you please, pay, but in the Ukrainian markets now the price is much lower (sometimes 3 times). But it's expensive, of course, but for this money you get everything that could be crammed into 8.1 millimeters of phone thickness. Buy if you really want! And so you can find something cheaper. The FPS in games is the same as in the previous generation, and that's it. Design, especially matte black Camera that can compete with Apple iPhone 13 Pro. The flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is strikingly different from its colleagues in the product line of the best creations of the South Korean electronics vendor as of early 2022. It is closer in spirit to the Galaxy Note series of smartphones that have sunk into oblivion.
A screen worthy of a flagship
The device was equipped with a huge 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with sloping side edges. The screen has an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and supports an active S Pen stylus. From now on, there is a “parking space” for a branded pen right in the smartphone case. The input lag when drawing with a stylus was reduced from 9 to 2.8 ms, artificial intelligence algorithms (predict the direction of the pen movement) and a new chip from Wacom with an increased polling rate (up to 480 Hz) took part in the process. The screen of the model is good in all points of the programme — it shows a picture in high resolution 3088x1440 pixels, has a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a round cutout for a 40 MP front camera lens.
Camera out of competition
Unlike the classic models of the S22 family, the smartphone looks completely different screen and main camera unit. In addition, the device can easily stand on the lower end of the case. The lenses of the rear camera of the mobile device appear on the surface of the glass "back" each separately. The main module here is a 108 MP image sensor with physical dimensions of 1 / 1.33 "and tenacious Dual Pixel AF autofocus. It is accompanied by a 12 MP ultra-wide and two 10 MP stabilized telephoto cameras (with a triple optical zoom and a tenfold zoom). The smartphone takes excellent photos and shoots high-quality videos in resolutions up to 4K (3840x2160 pixels) Depending on the lighting conditions, the Auto Framerate function automatically selects the frame rate for best results.
Full hardware
The top smartphone needs the appropriate equipment. And it did not let us down — here you have the whole modern set of wireless communications (including support for 5G and Wi-Fi 6E), and 45-watt wired charging of a capacious 5000 mAh battery, and two-way wireless charging of compatible devices. For dessert, the model has prepared dust and water protection of the IP68 case with the possibility of immersion to a depth of one and a half metres for half an hour. Wanted to buy it since its release and even before.
I was looking for phones with a stylus, a preference from old PDAs. Perfect for working with small details, editing photos/videos, and so on.
Battery life is sufficient but not wow, I wish it were more, but it's enough for work, video games, and videos.
The power is adequate everywhere and didn't lag anywhere.
Didn't heat up.
The optical 10x zoom is perfect, the downside is that usually 80% of all zoom photos can only be taken in professional mode, because in regular mode it switches to the main camera, meaning it's not optical but becomes digital from the main module.
The main downside for the phone is its price, but everyone understands what they're paying for and why.
The phone's size sometimes doesn't allow it to fit even in a magazine pouch, but it's perfect for mapping, working with maps and drones.
A major downside is the absence of a slot for an SD card and my favorite 3.5mm jack.
I also note the scanty package contents, or rather its absence, especially for a flagship.
Most of the downsides are just a new note in the "fashion" of electronic gadgets, so it's livable.
I recommend buying extra stylus tips on AliExpress.
Its appearance and build quality are almost flawless, simply 10 out of 10.
