Small and light chain saw
The Ryobi OCS-1830 saw is a clear demonstration of the benefits of brushless motors. The bet on this type of motor allowed Ryobi to create a compact and not too “gluttonous” electric saw with a very low weight (only 3.2 kg without batteries), which for many is an important factor when choosing a hand garden tool.
A simple tool for a simple job
It is impossible to call this saw 100% universal, because it is not suitable for logging or professional work at a construction site. Due to the emphasis on lightness and compactness, the tool is equipped with a short tyre (300 mm), which is not enough for sawing thick logs. Therefore, it is better to use it for not too large-scale work or operations that require precision and accuracy. The saw is perfect for trimming branches and dry branches, chopping firewood for a fireplace or small construction work.
