Model overview based on user reviews
The Roca Continental bathtub is a cast iron model praised for its snow-white shine and excellent heat retention. Users appreciate its stylish design and anti-slip coating, making it a comfortable choice for relaxation. However, some reviews mention that the enamel quality can be inconsistent, with reports of thin enamel and spontaneous cracks. The bathtub's size is generally well-received, accommodating adults comfortably, but its weight can be a challenge during installation. Additionally, the anti-slip coating on the floor tends to collect dirt, which can be difficult to clean. Despite these nuances, many find it a durable and aesthetically pleasing option, though some suggest considering other European brands for potentially better quality.

Very small compared to the steel one 150x70, the dimensions seem the same but there's less space. Cast iron, the paint shines snow-white. a lot of space was allocated to the upper walls |
Superb bath, though the current price is something else, previously I got it for 4000 UAH at a rate of 11, while acrylic at that time cost 2000, but without the legs and the front panel that covers the legs, and if there's also a corner panel, it will cost you more than the bath. They tried to convince me for a long time to buy an acrylic bathtub, but let’s talk with an old dealer who has been dealing with bathtubs all his life. He said not to even think about it, because in 5 years you’ll have to replace it, either because it turns yellow or it ends up looking worn out and unsellable. All those stories about acrylic being the new era, about how it holds heat well and is easier to install, being simple and convenient... In reality, what is simple and convenient in acrylic, pushing its price close to that of cast iron, are the legs that cost 200 bucks, the front panel that costs 200 bucks, and the installation on these legs, which also costs money. A cast iron tub can be set up on bricks with a level by an ordinary Vasya, with the front side laid with bricks and covered with tiles, unlike a plastic panel that can crack if you kick it... Oh, and about heat, cast iron holds heat a hundred times better than a piece of plastic, which is like a plastic cup compared to a mug... roughly such a thermal exchange combination. The bathtub is simply gorgeous in my opinion, it’s not like our Soviet cast iron that rusts through after a couple of years, and where paint chips off when something falls on it... here, everything is more stylish, an anti-slip coating, amazing dimensions of 70 cm in width and 170 cm in length, and at my height of 177 cm, I can stretch out completely, and it's an anatomical bathtub so if you stretch out, your neck won't hurt. Well, if you need to carry it by hand to the 10th floor, then it will be difficult for you, and there is a chance of damage))) I can't think of anything else. |
The quality is terrible, the enamel is very thin, it became noticeable after a spontaneous crack. Looks beautiful The quality was disappointing. Although for such a price it should have been excellent quality. |
