Budget tires from Europe, from our Slavic brothers, are manufactured in Serbia under a Michelin license (subsidiary) on the same production line as Kormoran and Tigar. Like the "Michelin bears," they are also very soft, making them a bit unstable, yet comfortable. For winter, the softness is a plus; they perform quite well on dry roads and are low-noise. M+S for mud and wet snow is just right. They did skid on wet surfaces (intentionally tested) but haven't been used in snow (no snow falls in Krasnodar, though it's 0 degrees outside).
