Model overview based on user reviews
The Pirelli Cinturato P1 is praised for its excellent road-holding capabilities, especially at high speeds of 130-150 km/h, and performs well on wet asphalt. It offers superior vehicle handling, allowing for confident cornering as if glued to the road. However, users note that it is very noisy and stiff, giving the impression of a lack of suspension. While it excels on smooth surfaces and in rainy conditions, the tire's performance can be contradictory, particularly when encountering puddles, where it feels like water skiing. Overall, it is a reliable choice for those prioritizing handling and wet performance.
Pros
Cons
The rubber is not bad. But contradictory. Holds the road well (130-150 km/h - no complaints) and especially on wet asphalt (even at those speeds). Better not to hit puddles (better not to hit them in general, but on these, it's like water skiing). But it rides great on sand, not digging in, but rather gliding over its surface. Excellent vehicle handling, takes turns at speed magnificently, like it's glued to the road. Very noisy. Just very. And stiff - it feels as if there's no suspension at all. |
