Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian WR G2 tires are generally praised for their performance in mild winter conditions, particularly in slush and wet snow. They are described as soft, quiet, and offering good handling on dry and wet roads. However, many users note that these tires are not ideal for harsh winter conditions, such as ice and packed snow, where they can struggle. The tires are considered more suitable for southern regions or areas with milder winters. While some users appreciate their durability and value for money, others have experienced significant wear over time. Overall, the Nokian WR G2 is recommended for those who drive primarily in urban areas or regions with less severe winter weather.

Your head is not just for wearing a hat in the winter! You need to think!

I crawled 40 km on summer tires over ice, doing everything on time, while idiots were digging their cars out of ditches! THEY THOUGHT THAT YOU COULD DRIVE ON ICE LIKE IT'S SUMMER, ON ASPHALT!
The tire is European, not Arctic, as indicated by the speed index H (up to 210 km/h). It should be used in the southern regions of the European part during winter. Browse the internet, understand the labeling before buying!
Don't fly in winter as you do in summer and everything will be ok!

good model, like it

do not expect the impossible from the tires; they won't start uphill on ice. Drive cautiously, and don't blame everything on the tires. Depending on the situation, I was driving at 5 km/h.
soft and quiet, went through 30,000 km in the winter, still good for a season, performs well in snow, mud, and slush, handles both wet and bare ice
cannot turn into a spike when ice forms

Do not buy, it won't help in winter

Never buying again, I rode on Finnish, and what it's like on Russian is hard to imagine. Russian ones even balance with very heavy weights on new original wheels.
high speed index, performs well on dry asphalt in minus temperatures, also good on wet roads.
this is not winter tires, but God knows what. With front-wheel drive during a snowfall and 1 mm wear, I went off the road at a speed of 50 km/h on the highway during a slight turn. There is no acceleration or braking on ice, through loose snow with very, very careful work with the gas pedal and clutch you can get through, but going uphill without accelerating, forget it. VERY heavy wear, 40,000 km down to zero on 2 tires and 2 with a remaining tread of 2-3 mm.
