Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian Rotiiva AT tires are generally well-regarded for their even tread and wear resistance, making them suitable for various terrains, including mud and sand. They perform adequately in winter conditions, even in extreme cold down to -38°C. However, they have poor performance on wet roads, with users noting issues like aquaplaning and instability on wet pavement. The tires are also described as noisy and hard, with a tendency to pick up small pebbles. Despite these drawbacks, they are considered a solid choice for those not engaging in extreme driving, offering good road holding and a reasonable price. Users recommend caution on wet surfaces and note that the noise level increases as the tires wear. Overall, the Nokian Rotiiva AT is a reliable all-season tire with some limitations in specific conditions.

Hi all! I have been rolling this rubber since June 20, in the amount of 275/65R18. Wear resistance, price. Poor and not stable behaves on wet pavement. |
It's amusing to read the categorical reviews from people who've been using these tires for a week to a month.))) I've been using these tires for 4 years. Overall, the tires get a solid 4+. There are no serious flaws or drawbacks, even though they're manufactured in Russia. The price could certainly be lower. New tires are usually quiet, but as they wear, noise increases. There are no bulges, cord damage, or tread issues whatsoever. I've driven at speeds up to 175 km/h, through mud, on ice, and on snow. Stones the size of a 1-kopeck coin get stuck easily, but they don't bother too much. The tire has a very even tread, as pointed out to me by tire fitters who have seen all kinds in their time. Performs well in mud. Handles puddles excellently, with no aquaplaning experienced in 4 years of use. Does well on sand. For ALL-SEASON tires, it’s quite predictable in winter and behaves adequately even in frosts down to -38°C. It is quite wear-resistant. Claims that it starts to wear rapidly at temperatures above +18°C are complete nonsense. I drove it in Astrakhan where the temperature was +35°C in the shade. There was NO critical wear even after driving 5000 km on the Volgograd-Astrakhan-Kalmykia roads. Poor performance in the snow, even though the tires have already traveled 30,000 km. Although the tread has a long way to go before the wear indicator. Poorly gets out of ruts, whether snowy or muddy. use Nokian Rotiiva AT 245/75 R16 111S more than year |
On the asphalt it makes a lot of noise, it doesn’t even make noise but growls, the vibration is felt on the steering wheel, it’s harsh, you can feel every hole in the asphalt. The road holding is not bad. It slips on wet grass. after fine gravel, the tread is filled with pebbles to the maximum, and not only that, you can catch stones in the city and on the road you can listen to the melodic clicking sound from all sides. Beautiful.... noisy, hard, littered with small pebbles. |
