Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian Nordman RS2 tires are highly regarded for their excellent price/quality ratio, offering reliable performance in various winter conditions. Users appreciate their softness and quietness, making them comfortable for driving, especially in snowy and icy conditions. The tires perform well on snow, slush, and wet roads, and are predictable and safe when driven with caution. However, some users noted that they can be slippery on ice and may require careful handling. While they are generally praised for their durability and performance, a few reviews mentioned concerns about braking on dry asphalt and the need for a break-in period. Overall, the Nokian Nordman RS2 is recommended for those seeking a budget-friendly winter tire that balances quality and performance, particularly for urban and moderate winter driving.

Optimal price/quality (subject to branded tires)
8 November 2021
The rubber is decent for the money, IMHO (I bought NOT the Russian [censored] made under license, which is a soft parody, but the real Finnish one). On snow (soft falling - fluffy, packed, wet, slushy) - okay, ice - not (not studded), but predictable, dry asphalt, occasionally icy - within reason (after all, we should use our brains when driving in winter), rated 3 out of a 5-point scale (it's not Toyo, of course, but Toyo's price is 1.3 times higher. Chose the optimal price/quality, couldn't justify paying more for Toyo). Didn't notice any noise on the highway (I keep it at 3 and above, the engine drowns out all sounds, and it's not a big issue for me). I would have picked Falken, but they’re not available in our village (rode them for 3 seasons without a hitch), Dunlop (only Japanese, can’t recommend, haven’t used them, plus they’re more expensive). Overall, what can I say, I recommend it (for those who use their heads), optimal price/quality (only the brand, NOT the Russian parody, like everything produced by that crap). I also recommend Falken (personal experience, but you can't find Japanese ones now). For your information, I'm from the Far East, 30 years of driving experience, car with right-hand drive, front-wheel drive, sedan, Toyota, a beast though it seems "modest" (with 1 liter and 100 hp), the roads here are a mess. Bottom line: For the money (~ 4K/per tire), it’s a decent choice.
Patency
"Feeling unsteady" - solvable by increasing the pressure.

Price/quality - Super
13 January 2017
Decided to write, maybe someone will find it useful, as I myself browsed comments on tires... I was choosing tires online with the criterion of price/quality. Settled on this model and do not regret it! The tires are very decent for the money! Moderately soft, not noisy on the highway, behaves well on dry asphalt, even at +15. It performed excellently on snow, slush, and wet roads, and handled ice and black ice very decently too. I hit some pretty big potholes on our "wonderful" roads, the tires held up without any issues. I've been using them for over two months, and they look like new. They are on a rear-wheel-drive BMW with 300 hp, size 225/55/17. For those who care: I have over 15 years of driving experience, with different cars, so I have comparisons, and this is not my first set of tires so you can trust the adequacy of the comment. I repeat once again - the tires are very good for their money! No sense in overpaying for other more expensive ones.
Driving performance during operation in different winter conditions
I did not find any shortcomings. Is that a small speed index of 160 km, but as for me, it’s enough for winter.

Excellent tires for winter!!!
Soft, quiet, paddles great in the snow, very predictable! I definitely recommend it!
Due to the softness, there is some rolliness when turning along serpentine roads, it is comfortable at speeds up to 140 km/h.
use Nokian Nordman RS2 205/60 R16 96R week i recommend it should buy
