Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 is widely praised for its excellent performance in winter conditions, offering superior grip on snow and ice. Users appreciate its quiet operation, with some even noting it is quieter than summer tires. The tires are described as durable and reliable, maintaining tread quality over multiple seasons. They provide good maneuverability and handling, making them a preferred choice for safety-conscious drivers. However, some users mention that the tires can be noisy on dry asphalt and express concerns about the high price. A few reviews note issues with spikes falling out, potentially due to aggressive driving. Overall, the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 is recommended for those prioritizing safety and performance in winter driving, despite its premium cost.

Very tough tyre. Yes, spikes are not needed for most of the winter, but if you need the maximum level of safety, this is Hakka8. The best tyres I've ever ridden. In the first season, I didn’t lose a single spike, I drove moderately. Grip on all surfaces is just super. Safety level is above all praise. Nothing! It is pointless to write about noise, since it is a spike. ![]() |
I’ve been driving these tires for the 6th season since I was ’13, my Largus car is 16 cl. I haven't seen better tires. I pump 2.4 atm. Economical, low noise, excellent handling, shovels deep snow with a bang, SUV owners have repeatedly squared their eyes after my turns in the snowdrifts. Don’t drive yourself into insanity, don’t climb in meter-long snow, and everything will be fine. Tread wear is minimal. It holds up well to impacts on the wheels from potholes, not a single bump, soft. I recommend. The spikes fell out, perhaps it was my own fault, I like to climb snowdrifts, I skidded and sometimes practice controlled skidding so that the feeling of the car is not lost. A little noisy at a certain speed around 70 km/h, not on all surfaces. use Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 185/65 R15 92T month or more i recommend it should buy |
I've been using the tires for two seasons. So far, the impression is good. Though, I think after two years, there's nothing new that could spoil this impression. So, I liked that the tires are very quiet. They don't rattle even on cobblestones, which is a rarity. Additionally, they perform excellently in the snow. Not once in two years have I gotten stuck in the snow. I even managed to drive through snowy off-roads normally. I've covered 14,000 km over the entire period. So far, the tread pattern hasn't suffered much. Therefore, we plan to go for a third season this year. I've had no negative experiences with these tires. Well, of course, if the price were a little lower, it would be absolutely perfect. use Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 month or more i recommend it should buy |
