Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 is highly praised for its excellent handling and road grip on various surfaces, including ice and snow. Users appreciate its comfortable ride and maneuverability, with many noting that the studs provide reliable traction. Despite some noise on dry asphalt, the tires are considered well-balanced and durable, with many studs remaining intact after multiple seasons. However, the tires are noted to be expensive, and some users experienced uneven tread wear and challenges in snowy ruts. Overall, the Hakkapeliitta 7 is recommended for its superior winter performance, making it a worthwhile investment for those prioritizing safety and reliability in harsh conditions.

Stud, good maneuverability and handling, comfortable ride high price and that's probably all the drawbacks of this great tire, very cool design and lots of sipes, I would buy this tire even if it didn't have studs. ![]() |
I honestly expected the worst, since the tires are made in Russia, but luckily I'm even happy after buying the tires. I feel pride that such things are made in our homeland, the tires have performed just excellently. All those reviews claiming they are noisy and hard to handle are written by people on commission, who have never actually driven on such tires. handles excellently on any surface, from pure ice to dry asphalt, confidently navigates both snowy slush when snow gets packed in the wheels and pure ice; the studs are just universal. I tested almost on an icy hill, the car managed to go up and down the hill, not without difficulties but also without much strain. I particularly liked the descent; there was no sliding at all, it felt as if I was on clean asphalt. When I put them on the wheels, the balancing required was minimal, weights were up to 5 grams, one wheel was perfect and needed nothing. For studded tires, the noise and braking distance ratio is ideal; anyone who has driven knows that studs roar terribly and on dry asphalt, the braking distance can be huge, but here the noise is tolerable, barely noticeable you could say, and it brakes excellently. very expensive tires, but they're worth it. I drove for one season and didn't regret a single penny. Maybe it seemed to me, but the car behaves poorly only at one moment. When you're driving in a snowy, icy rut, it's almost impossible to get out of it, the stud can't catch on, and the tire doesn't stick either, well, kind of like that. That's what I said)) noticeable difference in tread between the front and rear after the first season, it shouldn't be like that. Wears out quickly. ![]() |
good handling of the car noisy, 30% of the studs fell out in two seasons |
