Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian Hakka Green 2 tires receive mixed reviews from users. Many appreciate their quiet performance and ability to handle both wet and dry roads effectively. They are praised for absorbing small potholes and maintaining integrity even after hitting significant road obstacles. However, some users report issues with the soft sidewalls, which can lead to bulges or cuts, especially on rough roads. The tires are noted for their comfort and road grip, but concerns about their durability and wear over time are prevalent. While some users have had positive long-term experiences, others find them not worth the price due to their susceptibility to damage and relatively short lifespan. Overall, these tires are recommended for those prioritizing comfort and quietness on well-maintained roads, but they may not be ideal for harsher driving conditions.

I can recommend for a quiet measured ride on a good road

This tire is for those who spare no expense for safety and comfort and are ready to buy new tires every season or two accordingly.
- Quiet on any surface;
- Extremely comfortable both on the highway and in the city, you simply don't notice any irregularities;
- Holds the road perfectly, as if on rails. No ruts or skidding. The steering won't stray from straight.
Quiet on any surface
The price is a bit high, but if it's not just for one season, then it's quite excellent.
great model, love it

I've been using Nokian for a long time (about 8 years), both in summer and winter. I drove on the previous generation Green and never encountered any issues like blowouts, cuts, or bulges as some say. It handles well in all weather conditions, even at +5°C with excellent performance (I drive fast). I bought Green 2 just this fall, haven't driven it yet, so I can't say anything about it, but about the previous generation only good things, the only downside is wear over two seasons (the car is 7 years old with 177,000 km mileage) as I drive a lot. The reports of blowouts and cuts with bulges depend on the roads; if your asphalt was laid 20 years ago and you're driving a Niva with its wheels sinking completely, it's not the tire's fault. With 16 years of driving experience on many brands, I've had many good experiences, but every brand has its pros and cons. Nokian's cons are two seasons and needing new tires, and the price, but the price for summer tires in the fall can be very attractive, so I've been using them for a long time and have no regrets. The winter ones are absolutely fantastic. I would also like to try Bridgestone Turanza T 005. But, as they say, tastes differ, some people have been using KAMA tires all their life and are as happy as a clam. For me, road safety is the most important, and tires are primarily responsible for this, so everyone makes their own choice.
All good
Price and wear for two seasons
use Nokian Hakka Green 2 185/65 R15 92H more than year
i have been using Nokian Hakka Green 2 185/70 R14 for a month, in principle, there are no complaints so far.

First experience with Nokian Hakka Green 2 185/70 R14, have been using it for 1 month. Very soft sidewall, quiet, drove into potholes and the rim stayed intact and the tire had no damage. The fuel efficiency is not clear yet. Manufactured in Russia, size 185/70R14
Quiet, swallows holes. Cones and cuts for 1 month did not appear.
very soft sidewall, but the high profile is not easy to break through.
use Nokian Hakka Green 2 185/70 R14 88T less than month

The first generation of the Nokian Hakka Green summer tyre appealed to many motorists. However, for the sake of low noise and fuel efficiency, wear resistance was sacrificed in it. The specified defect was corrected in the second version of the model, in parallel providing the tyre with an updated tread pattern.

Modernization results

The result of the tyre modernization was an increase in mileage by about 15% (the indicator was calculated based on the results of testing the model in taxi companies) and, importantly, a reduction in stopping distance. In terms of braking distance on wet pavement from a speed of 80 km/h, the Nokian Hakka Green 2 is more than 1 metre ahead of its closest rivals in independent tests. The grip properties of the tyre on various types of road surfaces also deserve respect.

Green light

In the name of the model, it’s not in vain that the “green” prefix (Green) appears — it unambiguously hints at the use of environmentally friendly components in the rubber mixture. The main role in the composition of the compound is assigned to silica, and additional inclusions of pine and rapeseed oil correct the properties of rubber under changing temperature conditions. Also, soot particles are added to the “tyre cocktail”, which form strong bonds at the molecular level. In fact, their presence in the composition gives the tyre more strength.

Excellent qualities

The characteristic asymmetric tread pattern is pierced by 4 threads of hydroevacuation channels. In addition, the curved shape of the inner part of the tread blocks contributes to a better removal of water from the contact patch. For visual control of tyre wear, its design provides for 3 independent indication systems : a droplet symbol in the central rib (signals the preservation of hydroplaning resistance), a digital sequence of residual tread height in millimetres (erasable numbers from 3 to 8) and crosses in the side blocks (serve to determine uneven wear). The excellent qualities of the model are confirmed by the first places in independent tyre tests, which the Nokian Hakka Green 2 has repeatedly won.
