 | Expecting restock The NIU brand electric scooter is a mid-range solution with smartphone connectivity. The proprietary application has access to advanced trip statistics, including track tracking, as well as setting high-speed driving modes. The model is equipped with a 300-watt motor, the peak power of which can reach 600 watts. The motor makes it possible to drive uphill with an elevation angle of 15 degrees and accelerate personal vehicles to a speed of 25 km / h (there are 4 driving modes in total). The NIU KQi2 Pro electric scooter is powered by a rechargeable battery that takes approximately 7 hours to charge and is protected by a BMS system for durability. The power reserve is stated at 40 km, but thanks to the energy recovery function, in some scenarios, this distance can also be increased. The chas...sis of the model is represented by a pair of 10-inch inflatable wheels with a tandem of drum and electric brakes. Special mention also deserves a practical folding design with a convenient hook on the fender of the rear wheel that fixes the steering wheel. There is also a display, a balanced lighting system, plus IP54 moisture protection is declared, so you can safely drive through puddles or in light rain. |

A great model for city rides. I particularly liked the high beam; there are no issues with it in the dark. The multifunctional app comes with useful features. The scooter can be easily flashed with American firmware to reach speeds of 29 km/h. The range at this speed is about 20 km. If you balance between speed and economy, you can get 25-30 km out of it. When the smooth road ends, the desire to ride it ends as well; every little bump can be felt. I saw in Western reviews how the best price/quality ratio in the segment up to $600, a reliable manufacturer (2 years warranty, although not in Ukraine).
