Model overview based on user reviews
The Nitto Neo Gen tires are praised for their quietness and smooth ride, effectively handling potholes and providing a comfortable driving experience. Users appreciate their handling and braking capabilities, especially on dry and wet surfaces, where they maintain control and stability. However, they are noted to be sensitive to ruts, requiring careful steering, and are not ideal for mud, where traction is limited. Despite this, the tires are considered durable, with one user expecting them to last several seasons. Overall, the Nitto Neo Gen tires are seen as a good value for money, offering reliable performance for city driving and highway conditions.
Pros
Cons
Excellent tires. Soft, noiseless, just doesn’t like rutting, otherwise everything is fine. Quiet, smooths out potholes. Doesn't like ruts. use Nitto Neo Gen 205/55 R16 94V few months |
Installed 205/55/16, I can say the tires are good, not too noisy, soft, tried them in mud, rated 4, but they did manage to grip. Can't comment on the wear as I've only used them for half a year. Didn't see use Nitto Neo Gen 215/55 R16 97V month or more i recommend it should buy |
I bought these tires at the start of the 2018 season. Car: Honda Accord 7, 205/55R16. I drove for the season, approximately 10,000 km. Most of the mileage was in the city. Durability - I rate it well; it will last another two seasons with my mileage and driving style. Handling - not bad, but sensitive to ruts, you need to control the steering wheel. It holds turns confidently if you stick to the speed limit. Noise - noise is present depending on the road surface. Let's say the tires aren't very noisy. They hold wet surfaces confidently, especially worth mentioning is the highway driving. When hitting a large puddle, the car is controllable. Braking on a dry surface is very confident and even, but it all depends on the braking system itself and the brand of the car. On wet surfaces, braking is also confident. It tolerates potholes, no bulges found. The side support is quite strong. The tires seem a bit stiff, but my car's suspension is inherently stiff. In mud, the car is uncontrollable, even with traction control, it slides wherever it wants. Even considering these tires are considered all-season! Conclusion: For this money, the tires are worth buying. Rating: 4 out of 5. Handling, braking. Mud riding. use Nitto Neo Gen 205/55 R16 94V few months |
