Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon D800 body is highly praised for its exceptional image quality and 36 MP resolution, making it a top choice for professional photographers. Users appreciate its sturdy construction and dust and moisture protection, which ensure durability in various conditions. The camera's full-frame sensor and dynamic range are standout features, offering detailed and vibrant photos. Despite its weight and the high cost of lenses, the camera's performance justifies the investment. Some users noted issues with autofocus and occasional lag, but these are minor compared to its overall capabilities. The Nikon D800 is particularly favored for its versatility in both photography and video, although some feel the video function is unnecessary. Overall, it remains a reliable and high-performing camera for advanced hobbyists and professionals.

everyone who criticizes him is apparently simply not competent in this topic or has not used the device, since in terms of noise and speed this camera is not inferior to its rival 5d3, and in most parameters it leaves the 5d3 far behind, I shot with both cameras and it immediately became clear that everything was supposedly the advantage of the 5d3 in supposedly greater sensitivity is an outright deception achieved by the intrusive in-camera noise reduction that cannot be switched off to the detriment of detail, and the continuous shooting speed in the d800 with the battery grip attached is also 6 fps, and 36mp can always be switched to a lower number with all the ensuing pros and cons of low-pixel matrices , so, unlike its competitors, the camera is not blond the most advanced camera of 2012 at this price level, plus a price lower than the upgraded Canon 5D, plus a higher shutter life - 200 tons, and of course a reserve in megapixels and dynamic range that even cameras of a higher class do not have problems with firmware and alignment in the first batches of cameras |
be careful with your choice. i.e. appear with defective batteries so-so excessive 36 mp cool To prevent you from accidentally getting a defective Nikon D7000, read the useful link http://dphotoworld.net/news/nikon_ot zyvaet_batarei_en_el15/2012-04-24-1152 Nikon reports that some EN-EL15 batteries do not meet quality standards and may lead to OVERHEATING and DEFORMATION of the camera. Such batteries are installed on Nikon D7000, D800, D800E and Nikon 1 V1 cameras. |
An excellent camera for the money... Just a delight, but you have to know how to work with it... Switched from Sony, it was very difficult to get used to. All the advantages have already been mentioned, but I'll add my own. The camera performed really well in the cold at -35°C, and the battery didn't freeze, while Canon died. Dear lenses!!!! use Nikon D800 body more than year |
