Model overview based on user reviews
The Michelin X-Ice Xi 3 tires receive mixed reviews from users. Many appreciate their quiet and soft ride, with excellent performance on dry and wet pavement. They are praised for their durability and wear resistance, making them suitable for city driving and mild winter conditions. However, several users express concerns about their poor performance on ice and snow, describing them as unmanageable and prone to skidding in icy conditions. Some users also mention issues with balancing and tire shape, particularly with those manufactured in Thailand. While they are considered comfortable and reliable for certain conditions, they may not be the best choice for harsh winter climates or for drivers seeking strong ice traction. Overall, the Michelin X-Ice Xi 3 is seen as a good option for mild winter conditions, but potential buyers should consider their specific driving environment before purchasing.

I bought these tires in December 2019 (store "Your Tires"). The tires are manufactured in Thailand (these tires are only produced there). They hold the road normally. They were terribly balanced. Weights from 50 to 85 grams. Managed to balance them on the fifth attempt. But!!! yesterday I went on the highway, and it's impossible to hold the steering wheel (from 110 km/h). The higher the speed, the more vibration. Back to the tire service. IN THE END: One tire is octagonal, one is egg-shaped, the other two are also crooked, but less so. The worst ones were put on the back - the steering shakes less, but now the seats rattle. It's a pity the tire service didn't say immediately. I used to have a great opinion of Michelin, but after this, I won't buy again and do not recommend. Not the same quality. I haven’t found it today, because. already spent 2000 UAH on tyre managment. Tyres are curved, figure-of-eight, egg-shaped. the quality is disgusting. ![]() |
for winter, it is not suitable, rain and slush are great, light snow, or heaven forbid ice, you are at risk of not making it! quiet, soft, beautiful. For winter, it's not suitable, Lexus GS350, rear-wheel drive, electronic locks, stabilization - all for nothing, floats like a cow on ice, snow or ice, if more than 3 cm of snow - you’re not going, you're being led side to side, I'm in shock, steering like on clean ice over snow. use Michelin X-Ice Xi 3 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
i had a higher opinion of Michelin, but it turned out to be just advertising. I will never take Michelin again, especially since the Chinese ones are just as good in quality! low-noise, soft when hitting a pothole, doesn't get punctured! very poorly grips on ice, sometimes even skids on snow, uncontrollable, overpriced! |
