Model overview based on user reviews
The Michelin Pilot Alpin tires offer a mix of affordability and performance, with a standout feature being their mega affordable price for winter tires. Users appreciate their softness, which provides a comfortable ride, and their decent performance in loose snow. However, some users noted that the tires have excessive wear and perform poorly on dry asphalt and ice, likening it to skating. Despite these drawbacks, others have praised the tires for their excellent handling in various weather conditions, including heavy rain, and their suitability for high-speed driving. Overall, while opinions vary, many find the Michelin Pilot Alpin to be a good model for urban winter use, with some even considering them as an all-season option.

Cons

normal model, nothing special

A decent manufacturer, boasting some very excellent models, but here, in my opinion, is a model made in China specifically to lower the market price to show that the brand is accessible to everyone. In reality, they made a mistake that shows you need to think 10 times before getting the tires, even though on comparison sites the tires got decent scores, I wonder who conducted these comparisons.
The biggest advantage of these tires is the PRICE; honestly, the price at present is mega affordable, at 600 UAH for a winter tire of 15-inch diameter it's almost impossible to find, yet here it is. The tires themselves are fairly decent but that's about it. Essentially, they have the qualities of winter tires, they drive, perform decently in loose snow, but beyond that, there's nothing more. Another plus of these tires is their softness; the tires are really soft and the passenger feels great with them, but I'd rather feel less comfortable inside and have a better sense of the car on the road.
There are many drawbacks, the car doesn't really drive as it should on good tires. I would classify these tires as winter tires that perform better than laziness due to their softness. In terms of handling, it's not bad only on loose snow, on ice it's just sadly like skating, dry asphalt is just terrible—the braking and the sipes all flex, and you end up traveling 10 meters more. In terms of wear, it's excessive; I wore down 30% in one winter. For winter tires, that's a lot; typically, winter tires last for at least 4 seasons, but here, it's just...
good model, liked it

I bought it at the start of last winter. I tested it almost immediately after purchase - got caught in a heavy downpour. At that moment, I realized I didn't make a mistake in my choice. Didn't even need to slow down, the handling was excellent. Then, throughout the winter, I rode in all kinds of weather - in snow and on ice. I accelerated up to 230 km/h. Covered a total of 7400 km. Everything is just great. The tires fully lived up to expectations. Very satisfied.
I can't name any drawbacks. At the moment, everything is still satisfactory.

good model, I liked it

I bought the tires solely for winter use, but during use, I realized that they could be considered all-season, as they handle snow and clean asphalt perfectly — both wet and dry. Honestly, they perform best on dry asphalt, driving softly and quietly, with ideal handling. I'm more than satisfied with the purchase. I recommend them as the best option for an urban winter.
I did not notice any flaws.
