Model overview based on user reviews
The Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires are highly praised for their quiet and smooth performance, offering excellent handling on both wet and dry surfaces. Users appreciate their high wear resistance and durability, with some reporting usage over several years and long distances without significant wear. The tires are noted for their softness and comfort, providing a smooth ride even on rough roads. However, some users mention that the tires can be noisy and that the price is relatively high. Despite this, the overall consensus is positive, with many recommending them for their reliability and performance in various conditions, including light off-road use. The tires are particularly favored for their predictable handling and braking capabilities, making them a solid choice for those seeking a balance of comfort and performance.

A quite good option.

I liked how the tires perform on both wet and dry asphalt. During sudden braking, the car doesn't skid - this has been tested more than once. You also enter turns confidently with them. Excellent handling and quite predictable.
Quiet and smooth, driving on both wet and dry asphalt is good, braking is also excellent.
The price is like for summer tires.

I'm wondering if I should get it again or something softer and quieter...

Probably noisy due to wear resistance. For light off-road considering my trips, it's probably the most suitable option...
This set has lasted me for 5 years and still going strong))) Mileage 100,000 km, Freelander 2, R18. Throughout the entire period of use, there were no problems. Every summer, I travel to the Caucasus - highway, mountain serpentine - and in dry weather, and in a downpour, it holds the road well, mountain roads without coverage, passes without asphalt - no complaints. I ride Nokian studless tires in winter. After winter tires, these don't seem quiet. In terms of price-quality ratio, it suits me just fine.
She's not quiet))

great model, I really liked it

A very good combination of tread softness and wear resistance with a high tread. The engineers or whoever makes the rubber did a great job. The price is, of course, not super low, but the quality is excellent, and I don't regret the money I spent on it! I don't know what will happen next, but it's covered 10k with flying colors!
bought size 17 for a Touareg, the tires are quite soft, on smooth asphalt they are perfect with no noise, the softness is not just rated 5 but 5+, off-road they perform excellently thanks to the unidirectional tread. By the way, in water, this tread is great, the 4 grooves inside channel the water very well. I've driven 10,000 km so far, and the impressions are super, super. After 10,000 km, there's almost no wear, which is surprising given how soft the tires are; they truly are designed for off-road vehicles.
the sidewalls are a bit soft, but I hope this won't be a problem for me in the future.
