Model overview based on user reviews
The Lenovo Legion 7 16ACHg6 is a high-performance laptop praised for its powerful graphics card and AMD processor, making it suitable for demanding tasks. Users appreciate its comfortable keyboard, good cooling system, and metallic body. The laptop features a bright 16:10 display, although some users report issues with screen brightness and viewing angles. The design is well-assembled, and the laptop offers beautiful lighting. However, there are minor drawbacks, such as the absence of a fingerprint scanner and Windows Hello compatibility, and some users experienced speaker issues due to assembly line problems. Despite these, the laptop is generally recommended for its performance and build quality.
Pros
Cons
1 0 1 2 |
- The 3070 is very cool and quiet during everyday work (~40°C with two monitors and a video conference). - Noise level/temperature during everyday tasks compared to a MacBook on Intel. - Very decent bright 16:10 display for a Windows laptop. - Upgradability option. - At the factory, they often don't insert the speaker ribbon cables well, so they start crackling after a while, and you need to remove the cover and insert them properly. Most likely, this is an issue with the assembly line process. - There is no option to save your lighting preset to the keyboard controller's memory so it can work without ICUE. - Would love to have Advanced Optimus. - The camera is not compatible with Windows Hello. - There's no built-in fingerprint scanner. - The touchpad isn't up to Apple's level but it's decent. - There's bloatware, but it's whatever. Actually, all the bundled software has a purpose, it just might not be needed. |
Eyes hurt from the screen at any brightness level. Brightness distortions are visible on the sides even when looking directly at the screen. Tried to get used to the screen for a month, couldn't, ended up returning it. Very noisy. Powerful. Well-assembled. Metallic body. Beautiful lighting. Screen. Matrix from manufacturer Boe |
Performance is on point, color reproduction is vibrant. Viewing angles aren't poor and you can, inside it has an AMD processor this time, nowadays they have become more interesting and cost-effective. RAM is sufficient, the graphics card is fine. And the processor temperature is usually normal under load. Color rendering. The assembly is not flimsy. The design is okay. Not yet. |
