Suitable for remote work with documents and organizing multi-user video conferences on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype, etc. The impressive level of peak computing performance of HP ENVY 13-ba1000 laptops is provided by 11th generation Intel Core i5 / i7 quad-core processors ( Tiger Lake, 10 nm), working in conjunction with 8/16 GB of internal DDR4 RAM and fast NVMe SSDs. The integrated video core Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 or the discrete Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics card are responsible for displaying the image, providing a basic level of gaming performance. There is an LED-backlit keyboard, an HD-resolution webcam with a mechanical shutter, dual-band wireless Wi-Fi 6 (802.11n / ac / ax), a fingerprint scanner for quick login.
For the specified price, you get an Intel Evo certified laptop with the top-tier i7-11th and a battery life of 8+ hours. I'll try to detail the pros/cons of the device that I encountered during the first week of use. The laptop is worth its money and I recommend it for purchase, especially if you need a good work machine that can also be used for gaming in your free time. Speakers: typical for laptops in this price range - not a Mac, but not "squeakers" either. Camera: typical for laptops in this price range. Noise: completely absent in office tasks, the laptop only makes itself known when launching games. Screen: The screen is excellent, which is definitely one of the biggest advantages of the laptop. It's glossy, with very good brightness that is sufficient for use in direct sunlight. It's an IPS panel, meaning there can be "glow" at the edges (for example, Acer's official website states they allow such phenomena in their screens). At minimal brightness in complete darkness, there seems to be no such effect here (I looked closely and after 30 minutes found some sort of macroscopic "mystery" in the lower left corner - most likely a placebo effect). Processor: JetBrains, Docker, AutoCAD, Solid run effortlessly without the slightest hint of lag. Everything compiles very quickly and without overheating. Graphics Card: The integrated graphics handles WOT perfectly. With medium settings of enhanced graphics, it achieves 70 fps at 1080p without dynamic scaling. Microphone: 2 microphones, which are located in the perfect spot - above the screen, near the camera. There is no background noise, and you can't hear the sound of typing (though the keyboard is a bit noisy). Recording quality 9/10. Battery: It's great, in mixed mode with 50% brightness (Chrome/PyCharm/Office/Zoom) the laptop lasted a little over 7 hours. For movie watching - 10 hours. OS: Licensed Windows 10 Home 19041 Weight: 1.3 kg! Keyboard: not the best, but you can't say it's bad and working with it is terrible. You definitely need to get used to it, as the "high" keys have a long travel, and the distance between the keys causes frequent misses. Subjectively and briefly, the keyboard is implemented worse than in Dell laptops (Vostro, Latitude series) and Thinkpad, but it is not a significant disadvantage. Graphics adapter driver versions: out of all the versions, I could only find one where the display brightness adjustment worked. Standard Office 365 package: after creating an account, the 6-month subscription turned into a 7-day subscription. (possibly, something was done incorrectly) |
My laptop HP ENVY 13-ba1000 (13-BA1012UA 4A7L7EA) Intel Core i7-1165G7, 2.8 GHz 16Gb 512Gb Great specs for work, but in life, impractical details gathered all the advantages into one desire - to exchange it for a simpler and more practical laptop The greatest satisfaction I got from this model - when I sold it Enjoyed working with this screen, words aren't enough - just tap. But it's more about the reluctance to use the keyboard. Windows installs automatically - all drivers were pulled correctly. - The keyboard is very stylish, but not practical. You can't see anything. - Sound, sometimes it's better to stay silent instead of branding. Just a bit more bass but the quality is poor. - Fingerprints on the screen are more of a human flaw. |
