Reincarnation Omen
The past year has been a year of change for the HP Omen series. The original gaming laptops with flashy designs are gone, giving way to versatile gaming laptops with an interesting and strict design in the style of ultrabooks and professional laptops. Instead of the recognizable red and black design, users have received a more subtle grey finish in metal and plastic. The eye catches only on the blue-green Omen logo on the lid and a neat keyboard with RGB backlighting. Some people liked such changes, someone, on the contrary, believes that Omen has lost its individuality, but we will remain in the middle. Still, looks are a matter of taste.
Great display to match the RTX 3060 graphics card
The laptop's IPS panel has a Full HD resolution and boasts overclocked hertz (144 Hz) and good colour reproduction (100% of the sRGB range). And there is no PWM brightness control. In general, the display is excellent, just right for the GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. In the company with a fast SSD, 16 GB of RAM and a 16-thread Ryzen 7 5800H, this baby can easily handle any modern games in Full HD and with the highest possible graphics settings. From 60 to 90 FPS in demanding projects is the norm for her. True, we were alerted by the fact that the graphics card seems to have limited power consumption. According to measurements, it never went beyond 80 watts, although in laptops from competing manufacturers, it usually "eats" 120 – 130 watts.
Coolers to the max
I didn’t like the fact that the fans run constantly without being tied to the load level. But the rest of the equipment compensates for this shortcoming: there is USB-C with video output, Wi-Fi 6, fast charging, a card reader, speakers with DTS X Ultra from Bang & Olufsen. Perhaps the most important disadvantage of the HP OMEN 15-en1000 is its price. The RTX 3060 graphics card is now a piece product, which is why many retailers are not weakly raising prices for laptop modifications with this graphics card.

I personally chose a laptop in-store, checking out the body and seeing how things bend, how bulky the gaming laptops are. It doesn't take up much space since it's a 15.6-inch model. So, it's not bulky; mine has a full HD screen, but there are also 2K ones, although I couldn't find one. There is Windows right away, there's enough space on SSD, and RAM is sufficient too.
