Outdated Product
Inexpensive and reliable instantaneous gas water heater with a non-volatile control system and an open combustion chamber, which involves the use of a full-fledged chimney system with a diameter of 130 mm. Designed for vertical wall mounting in rooms with a reliable supply of fresh air (a mandatory requirement for safe operation). It is a practical and safe in everyday use water heater of the Hotpoint-Ariston Fast family with a nominal power of a copper heat exchanger of 27 kW. Automatic ignition of the gas burner is carried out at the expense of the energy of two replaceable batteries (the service life of branded alkaline batteries is 3-6 months). The compact steel case of the Hotpoint-Ariston FAST R ONM 14 instantaneous gas water heater is equipped with a viewing window for visual contro...l of combustion, two mechanical knobs that control the heat output and water flow rate (temperature). It is positioned as a product of the middle price category, capable of providing operational heating in an amount of up to 14 L / min (subject to water heating at 25 °C). Cope with servicing the needs of small or medium households (2-4 people). Not adapted to work on liquefied gas (SPBT). Equipped with reliable protection against overheating and gas control to prevent leakage in case of accidental flame failure.

good model, I liked it.

Accumulative electric boilers are good, I do not argue. But if it is impossible to additionally load the electrical network, as in my case, then you have to look for other ways of heating. I decided that I would use gas. Yes, it's not cheap, but since there is no other alternative, I bought just such a flow model.
Such a device is the best way to quickly get a lot of hot water. Unlike storage boilers, a high temperature is obtained in just a few seconds. The water performance is decent, from 15 degrees at the inlet to 50 at the outlet it can heat about 8 liters per minute. The maximum temperature reaches 85 degrees, that is, almost boiling water. For household needs (bath-shower + water supply for the kitchen), this temperature and amount of water is enough. All control, but you can control the speed of the water flow and the power of the burner, purely mechanical, no electronics. Even the electric ignition system is powered by two large LR20 alkaline batteries, that is, the heater is completely non-volatile from the mains. There are all safety systems - protection against overheating and gas control, which prevents gas leakage in the event of flame extinction.
Unlike a storage electric boiler, hot water cannot be turned on in a thin stream here. That is, of course, you can turn it on, but the boiler will not work, it turns on only at a certain pressure, which is slightly less than average. So it turns out that the consumption of both water and gas is often excessive. Another such instantaneous water heater is sensitive to water hardness and in my conditions requires mandatory annual cleaning and this will have to be done by inviting specialists, which means additional expenses. Natural draft to remove combustion products requires competent arrangement of the chimney, it also took a lot of money.
