Model overview based on user reviews
The Hankook Dynapro HP2 RA33 tire is highly regarded by users for its performance and durability. It is noted as the original factory tire for vehicles like the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe, with users reporting excellent road holding and load capacity. The tire performs well on both wet and dry asphalt, making it suitable for varied driving conditions. One user reported a total mileage of 130,000 km since 2008 without any significant issues, highlighting its longevity. However, some users have experienced sidewall cracks after extended use, which could be attributed to environmental factors like exposure to frost or sun. Despite minor noise and stones getting stuck, the tire is praised for being soft and quiet, and users express a willingness to repurchase, although availability can be an issue. Overall, the Hankook Dynapro HP2 RA33 is recommended for its reliability and performance.
Pros
Cons
Soft and quiet. Would buy again but it's out of stock everywhere. Original factory tire for Kia Sorento 3 USA. In use for 7 years. Mostly on asphalt. Haven't tried it in swamps but it suits me on wet and dry asphalt (I'm not a racer). Based on experience, v+s are not very good in mud. Cracks on the sidewalls close to the rim. But it's like 7 years old. It's unknown how it was used before me. Possibly driven in frost, or perhaps left in the sun for a long time. I drove it for 1 summer season. I'm taking it out of service due to the cracks. But I’ve had cracks appear on Bridgestone Dueler Sport before. In some places, pieces of rubber are torn out, but not much (as mentioned above). |
