Model overview based on user reviews
The Gorenje TG N series of water heaters, including models like the TG 50 N, TG 80 N, and TG 100 N, is praised for its quick heating capabilities and reliable performance. Users appreciate its ability to heat water to high temperatures, which is effective for hygiene purposes. The thick steel tank with a glass-ceramic coating and magnesium anode ensures durability and corrosion protection. Despite its benefits, some users have noted that the thermometer can be inaccurate, leading to potential misjudgments about water temperature. The heaters are well-assembled in Europe, contributing to their perceived reliability. While the size may be an issue for some installations, the overall feedback highlights the product as a high-quality and economical choice for ensuring a consistent hot water supply, especially during maintenance periods of municipal systems. However, there was a report of a tank failure, indicating potential quality control issues.

good model, I liked it.
4 May 2016
I bought it two and a half years ago, I use it with my wife, and sometimes the children come to visit. I turn it on permanently in the summer, when local heating networks begin the traditional “prevention”. In principle, a volume of 50 liters is enough, a shower for two + dishes require approximately 70-80 warm water, and after diluting the hot water from the boiler, approximately this is obtained. The boiler itself has proven itself from the best side. The first prophylaxis was done six months ago. Dismantled for cleaning and replacing the magnesium anode. There was a lot of scum. There is only one two-kilowatt heating element, which means that the temperature of its surface during operation is quite high and scale is actively formed. The tank was in very good condition, no damage was found on the surface of the enamel. Even the magnesium anode worked out only a little more than half and could have lasted another six months or a year. But since I took it apart, then you need to do the replacement of the anode.
Heats up water quickly. If you do not set yourself the goal of achieving "boiling water", then after 40 minutes one person can take a shower. For a maximum temperature of 65 degrees, you need to wait a little less than an hour and a half, which is also not so much. Thick wall storage tank. The boiler is heavy, unlike the current ones, there is a feeling of reliability. Works silently as it should be for a quality and properly designed electric water heater. Two year warranty. Although it was not useful, but its presence is very reassuring. High-quality assembly, made in Serbia.
The thermometer shows not quite here the temperature that is now in the tank. His testimony is late and sometimes it is misleading - you can try to take a shower, but in fact the water will already be much colder than according to the thermometer.
Simple and high-quality water heater for backup

The anticipated birth of a child prompted us to quickly address the issue of uninterrupted hot water supply. In our city, we have municipal hot water constantly, except for one summer month of maintenance, but its quality leaves much to be desired. Often, it appears "rusty," and its temperature during the day is usually only 45-50 degrees, and at night it even drops below 30, so calling it hot is very conditional. In such conditions, the simplest and cheapest solution is an electric storage boiler. However, I decided that if we are to buy a water heater, it's best to choose a good, reliable model, even if it's not the cheapest.
The first thing that was important to me was the time it takes for the boiler to heat water to 50 degrees. Here, Gorenje excelled – the boiler can provide such water in just an hour. Full heating to 75 degrees takes just under two hours. For a 50-liter water heater, these are good, if not excellent, results. At home, it almost always operates in ECO mode, which means it maintains a temperature of around 50-55 degrees. This is safe for a baby and economical in terms of specific electricity consumption. It maintains the temperature excellently. The 50-degree temperature is sustained for about 12 hours without noticeable loss, which is very convenient. It's well-assembled, which is not surprising given that the assembly plant is located in Europe, in Slovenia. Affordable price.
With a relatively small volume, it is quite large in size and didn't fit in the planned spot in the bathroom. Of course, it's partly my fault for not carefully measuring the future installation space. As a result, I had to clear some space and rearrange the shelves.
High-quality European water heater at an affordable price for this level
26 April 2016
I bought this 80-liter boiler to get hot water in the summer, when the heating networks are carrying out preventive maintenance. I chose Gorenje because it is a reliable brand. This is proven daily in my home by their refrigerator, washing machine and gas stove. I am completely satisfied with them and the new boiler of this brand did not disappoint either.
Powerful and heats up water quickly. Warm goes in forty minutes, really hot after more than two hours. It can heat water up to 75 degrees. This is enough to destroy a variety of bacterial and not only flora, which over time can start in stagnant water. Therefore, once every five weeks I warm up the boiler to the maximum temperature and keep it under such conditions for at least half an hour. Tank made of thick steel cold-rolled sheet. From the inside, it is covered with a continuous glass-ceramic coating for corrosion protection. There is also a magnesium anode, where without it. Simple mechanical control is reliable. There is an economical mode in which only half of the electrical power is used. It was made in Serbia. Anything is better than the Chinese assembly.
The thermometer, which is in the upper part of the case, is lying like a gray gelding. As a rule, it overestimates the temperature, so that, based on its readings, you can get into the shower under cold water. Heavy, infectious. I hurt my back a little while hanging.
