Memory kit from G.Skill, which belongs to the DDR5 class and features an impressive starting speed, large memory capacity, and appealing design. The set is part of the updated Flare series, specifically designed for the AMD platform: particularly, it supports motherboards with AM5 sockets and Ryzen 7000 processors, introduced in late 2022. Unlike the familiar XMP technology with pre-configured settings profiles, it uses AMD's alternative development called EXPO.

In honor of the series relaunch, Taiwanese designers updated the appearance of the entire series, using a minimalist dark blue metal plate with neat perforation and the Flare logo as a heat spreader. The G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 2x16Gb kit is built on the new fifth-generation RAM microarchitecture with an improved power chip, separate management controller, and built-in error correction system, which achieved a significant speed increase while reducing overall energy consumption. It belongs to the higher price category and consists of two 16 GB DDR5 modules with a working clock frequency of 6000 MHz and an impressive bandwidth of around 48000 MB/s. Altogether, it provides a large volume of high-speed memory, with performance characteristics that are twice as fast as standard DDR4 modules.
