Model overview based on user reviews
The Fulda Kristall Supremo tires offer low wear and good directional stability, making them an affordable option for urban winter driving. Users appreciate their quiet performance and good fuel consumption, especially on dry and wet asphalt. However, they have noted some drawbacks, such as poor grip on dry asphalt and weak sidewalls that can lead to bulges from minor impacts. While they perform well on compacted snow, there is a false sense of confidence due to inadequate braking on the same surface, particularly on ice. Overall, these tires are suitable for regions with mild winters but may not be the best choice for icy conditions.

I drove them for 2 winters, they are quiet, handle well on dry asphalt and in the rain, on packed snow they accelerate faster than they brake, which creates a false sense of safety. Suitable for warm regions. Control on dry and wet asphalt. Not noisy. Braking on specified snow and ice. use Fulda Kristall Supremo 215/50 R17 95V more than year |
I don't know about others, but the tires seemed quite lacking in their characteristics to me. On dry asphalt, they feel slippery, there's a loud squeal in turns, and braking is also accompanied by a squeal. I had a 400 km trip one way, and upon returning home, I found a bulge on two tires – I was upset. Low wear, good directional stability. Affordable. Poor grip on dry asphalt, enters corners with a squeal, and braking is also accompanied by an incredible screeching. Not durable, bumps appear even from the slightest impact. |
Given the excellent durability (already on my third summer set by now), predominantly city driving mode, and good comfort of the tire tread, I am satisfied. Well, on ice, you need to be careful with any tires. I've been using them for the sixth winter!!! Size 235/60/16. The tread wear should last through next winter, with about 5mm remaining now. I drive quite briskly when the weather allows. Considering I drive about 10,000 km each winter, I think the tire's durability is excellent. There's no squealing when cornering whatsoever. They hold the road perfectly and don't make noise. On dry surfaces, in slushy snow, or just snow, there are no complaints. They brake excellently. This is a great option for urban winters, as well as for weather where thaws frequently change to frosts and snowfall. On roads covered with ice, nothing. It's tolerable while accelerating, but braking is just bad. |
