Model overview based on user reviews
The Falken Ziex ZE-912 tires are praised for their quiet and smooth performance, offering a softer ride compared to other models like the Dunlop Direzza DZ101. Users appreciate their good handling on both dry and wet asphalt, with no skidding up to 140 km/h and smooth operation at 200 km/h. The tires are noted for their wear resistance and are considered a great value, especially when purchased off-season. While they may have worse steering sensitivity in the near-zero zone and slip on wet grass, these issues are minor given their intended use. Overall, the Falken Ziex ZE-912 is recommended for those seeking a softer low-profile tire that performs well in city conditions and on highways.
Pros
Cons
for those who want to make the low profile softer tires are used in size 2055016. In this case, the sidewall is interesting as it combines a stiff rib and a soft sector. Compared to the previous Dunlop Direzza DZ101 of the same size, the Falken is significantly softer, but the steering center became vague immediately, and the tire folds in turns, but in city conditions with potholes, it's just right. In the city, you can pump it to 2.0 without problems. It performs well on the highway and in winter. worse steering sensitivity in the near-zero zone ![]() |
I replaced Good Year Excellence (235/45,R17) with this model (225/50,R17). I'm satisfied with the result: quieter and smoother, handling hasn't suffered much, wear resistance is definitely not worse (and maybe even better - drove for one season). And considering the price (bought "off-season" for 1000 UAH) - the tires are great. Car: Ford Mondeo IV. Did not find any obvious ones. ![]() |
I installed a new one in the summer of 2012, now it's the third season I'm finishing it off. If I don't change the car, I'll get the same tires. As they say: don't look for good when you already have it. Quiet, soft, performs well on dry and wet asphalt. In the rain, there is no hint of skidding up to 140 km/h. At 200 km/h, it runs smoothly, quite wear-resistant (based on experience). slips on wet grass, can't climb uphill (but the tires aren't meant for that) use Falken Ziex ZE-912 month or more i recommend it should buy |
