Flexible plates
The straightener from the famous British company Dyson offers innovative technologies for an improved way of styling while caring for the condition of the hair. These are flexible plates made of a manganese-copper alloy: unlike the same floating plates, here the heating surface consists of many parts that move separately from each other. As a result, they adapt to the shape of the strand to cover every hair. If in conventional irons the heat is distributed unevenly (for example, somewhere the thickness of the strand is less, somewhere it is more), then all the hair is equally warmed up here. In addition, the edges of the strand are securely fixed and do not fall out.
Due to this design, you spend less time styling, and the hair, accordingly, is not so heated and damaged. Even at the lowest temperature, it is enough to hold it once for the strand to become even or, conversely, twisted, and this works even with naughty curly hair.
Three modes
The device itself has an ergonomic shape, although it is heavy — more than 550 g. Therefore, if you use it for a long time, your hand gets tired, but styling is unlikely to take more than 5 – 10 minutes. There are three temperature settings to choose from: 165, 185 and 210 degrees, depending on the type of hair, length and desired hairstyle. The plates heat up very quickly, and it takes a few seconds to switch modes. The readiness for operation is signaled by a sound signal. Built-in sensors monitor the temperature so that the rectifier does not heat up above the specified value.
On the case there are on / off, control and lock buttons so that the device does not open during transportation, as well as a display that displays all the necessary information. The controls are quite simple and clear, and the buttons do not accidentally switch during use. Another nice bonus is a heat-resistant travel case. You can put a straightener on it during styling or wrap it while still hot and take it with you in your bag.
From mains and battery
Another plus of Dyson Corrale is battery life, that is, it can work both from the network and from the built-in battery. Thanks to this, styling can be done anywhere: in transport, at work, in the restroom, etc. The charging itself is magnetic, and the cord is very long — more than 4 metres and rotates 360 degrees. The kit comes with a docking station, which also acts as a regular stand. That is, the device can be charged from it, and directly from the cord. The battery life is about 30 minutes, which is enough for several styling, it takes 70 minutes to fully charge. You can safely take the straightener with you on the plane: a separate lock button makes it absolutely safe during flights.
All in all, the Dyson Corrale is a great choice for both casual users and professional stylists. The device will help you quickly straighten your hair and make beautiful curls. But such pleasure is not cheap.
