Model overview based on user reviews
The Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires are praised for their excellent speed characteristics and resistance to aquaplaning, making them ideal for fast and stable driving on dry asphalt roads. Users appreciate their durability, with some reporting usage over multiple seasons and distances up to 55,000 km. However, they note that the tires can be noisy at high speeds and prone to slipping on wet surfaces, particularly on wet asphalt and cobblestones. Concerns about the sidewall's strength are mentioned, with reports of wear and vulnerability to damage from potholes. It's advised to be cautious of the manufacturing origin, as some users experienced issues with tires made outside Japan. Overall, the tires are suitable for those who drive carefully and prefer dry conditions.

I generally liked the tires; I used them from early spring almost until late autumn, driving various distances, both long and short. The weather was also variable, both dry and rainy. They proved themselves positively, mainly as a fast and stable tire on asphalt roads. Resistant to aquaplaning at high speeds. On wet cobblestones, don't drive recklessly - it's prone to slipping and skidding. I can also note that they are a bit noisy at high speeds. Soft, more intended for speed, and speed can naturally be achieved on a flat dry road. Resistant to aquaplaning. Rattles and slides when driving on cobblestone roads. |
Carefully look at what we take... there are counterfeit neighbors... and there is retreaded rubber... compared to retreaded, the counterfeits are significantly better))) on 255/45/R18, it looks solid and reliable... just like the old model of the Goodyear Ultragrip Extreme winter tires. There are no drawbacks for made in Japan, but as for neighboring friendly countries... drives the car at high speeds... the sidewalls of the tires wear down to the cords in a season... any small pothole can cut the tire sidewall without much effort... |
Drove for four seasons on Camry 215*60*16, approximately 45 - 55 thousand km. Didn't even wear down to 50%, changed due to a bump. On a wet road, you need to be careful, always slips when starting on wet asphalt. Handles dry road well. In my opinion, it's a bit noisy. Lasts long, holds well on dry roads. Holds well on gravel and dirt, but only when dry. Easily slips on wet asphalt, through puddles like a ski. Collects nails. Weak sidewall. use Dunlop SP Sport 9000 month or more i recommend it should buy |
